Since I am a physicist, I have more theoretical knowledge than the ordinary people about what an atomic bomb is. In addition, I'm a survivor of the atomic bomb, that is to say I've practically suffered from it. From both points of view I can't help thinking, why the A-bombs have been invented.
Mostly the human society doesn't work in the reasonable way. Politics itself has its own peculiar system. A weapon has its own logic and movement as an object. I suppose these might develop into a hazard.
As far as we possess nuclear weapons, we can destroy ourselves at last. Before it could happen, man would stop wars, I wonder. Although it may be a little too rosy view, I'm afraid the odds would be even, which human beings can survive. Even if I'm optimistic about it, I feel they must be even.
