It was the evening of September 5th. I finally came to realise that my last day was getting close. I realised that I was becoming half conscious. I strongly felt that I was falling down to the place where there was unfathomed depth. I had prepared myself for the final day as I didn't know whether my life would last or not until each following day.
It was midnight and I wanted to express my gratitude to the people who worked in the factory where I had been evacuated to. So I ordered my wife who was taking care of me, "Call someone."
The head guard of the factory came to me and asked me, "What's wrong with you, teacher?" I said to him, "I'm afraid that I'm going to die very soon. I'm half conscious today, but I'm not sure whether I will be able to speak or not tomorrow morning. I'd like to say one thing to everybody at the factory before I die. Thank you so much for everything you've done for me. I want to express my gratitude to you all." That was all I wanted to say.
