<body><a href="../index.html">HOME</a><br><table summary="294"><tr><td class="etesti">294</td><td class="edate">August 16<sup>th</sup> or later, 1945.</td><td class="eage">I gradually came to realise that something is wrong.</td></tr><tr><td class="ei_midasi" colspan=3>25 years old at that time</td></tr></table><div class="large"><p>As a medical doctor, I was treating the ones suffering from the atomic bomb attack, in other words, hibakushas.  I found it strange when I made an injection since the body started to rotten from that spot.  Once s/he got leukemia, things went bad from the injected spot.</p><br><p>Heavily injured organized girls lost their hair when they combed it.  Something is going wrong.  Gradually I came to realize the symptoms of the atomic bomb sickness.</p><br><p>A young girl combed her hair with a comb she borrowed from a nurse, once the comb ran through her hair, their fell off.  I believe that it is not necessary to explain how shocked she was in words.  The same things happened to the nurses who came to help.</p><p>When their washed their faces in the morning and the moment their hands felt their hair it fell off, too.  Similar cases were seen everywhere.</p></div></body>
