<body><a href="../index.html">HOME</a><br><table summary="267"><tr><td class="etesti">267</td><td class="edate">Around August 11<sup>th</sup> to 14<sup>th</sup>, 1945.</td><td class="eage">Mother of 44 years old and her daughter of 12 years old at that time</td></tr><tr><td class="ei_midasi" colspan=3>Doctor run away leaving the tweezers behind.</td></tr></table><div class="large"><p><span class="olive">Daughter</span>: Big drops of rain started.  My brother could not pronounce Genshi-bakudan (A-bomb) correctly, but said Genshi-baran.  When it rained, he said, "Genshi-baran was falling again."</p><p><span class="orangered">Mother</span>: (laughing)</p><p><span class="olive">Daughter</span>: Suddenly doctors fled leaving medicines behind.  I immediately took the medicines and treated everyone with them.</p><p><span class="orangered">Mother</span>: And,</p><p><span class="olive">Daughter</span>: Soon I became bedridden and motionless.  I could not escape any more.  My mother and I talked each other, "We two will die here."</p><p><span class="orangered">Mother</span>: Including my younger brother, "We, three, will die together."</p><p><span class="olive">Daughter</span>: "We, three, will die together." so, we talked.  However, when it rained heavily again, my mother tried to run alone.  I said to her, "Mom, what are you doing?"  I desperately kept her back from getaway.  "Hi, you, you promised me that you will die together with us.  But you are trying to run away leaving me behind!"  This repeated again and again.</p><p><span class="orangered">Mother</span>: When a hospital doctor was sterilizing this child with tweezers, a lighting flashed.  The next instant the doctor run away leaving the tweezers behind.</p><p><span class="olive">Daughter</span>: Near is my shirt, but nearer is my skin.</p><p><span class="orangered">Mother</span>: We run away together.</p><p><span class="olive">Daughter</span>: "I love myself most.", I would say.  Though somebody says, "I love my child.  I love my husband.", she will certainly protect herself.  At last.  I have experienced it.  It was an irreplaceable experience.</p></div></body>
