I went to the ruin to look for the bones of my family, but in vain.  The tile roofs were burnt to ashes.  Though I couldn't find any bones of my mother, I picked up some, that I suspected they belonged to my sister, because she had a tooth covered with gold.

I walked around the burned-out lot (of my relative's house) and in the place, where there used to be their kitchen, I picked up some bones, that could have belonged to my relative.  It was impossible to get a death certification without any bone.  Then I went home.

Komaba-town, near to the ground zero, had all burned down, which turned the bones completely bleached.  It was impossible to find even a bleached bone without digging the dust.  My uncle and I searched hard for my mother's bones.  "She must have been around here.  This bone may be hers."

Although I heard that my mother was seen near Shimooohashi-bridge after the atomic bombing, she's still unknown, neither are her bones.
