My body was scorched black. A part of my skin came off and was hanging loose. The skin was black, it was not because I didn't wash myself but because of the burns. Every time I ran, a part of my skin swung loosely. It was like a dust cloth or a piece of meat. I didn't know what was going on at that time.
As my feeling was numbed, I felt neither hot nor painful. When I noticed that the skin and the flesh were hanging down, I tore them off and threw away.
On my way for evacuation, someone brought white powder in a bucket with a dipper prepared. Perhaps it meant that any person might apply it by himself if he could. I got it on my palm, but could not apply to the wound by myself.
I managed to apply the white powder to the wound a little. Then I looked down at my legs and found that the skin of legs also were torn off and hung down. It was right here at my thigh. (She pointed at the spot of the thigh to the interviewer) I feel embarrassed to show this to you though...
