It was the bamboo bush that I escaped into. There were houses at the end of the road. They caught fire in a moment. The fire was spontaneous and then burned down in a minute. I felt so scared, that I didn't know what was happening.
I looked up at the sky. It was the clear blue sky before, but now all black. Glaring dusts were flying there. Then the black rain began to drop. It was the muddy rain, pouring on the bamboo bush.
From the downside, a naked man who was burnt all his body came up toward me. I asked him,
"What happened?"
He said,
"They got me." His voice was feeble and barely heard. One after another people, who were injured or burnt, came up on the slope. I ran into the nearest air raid shelter. All residents in the town had been gathered in the shelter, but they were all heavily burned or bleeding, with the skin losing shape.
