I saw that from the trunk of camphor tree the ray like a seven-color stars shot out. I saw that on my own eyes. I thought that my life was ending and when I would die. I was desperate and shouted,
"Mom!"
My mother had very horrible burns and blisters all over her body. She called my brother's name many times,
"Tadahiro, Tadahiro."
My brother was in front of my mother and she shouted,
"Oh, you are here!"
She held him in her left arm and ran to the dugout. I looked at him and saw that his head was split in two and the blood kept running.
I thought it was a serious affair and ran to the dugout with my mom. By then the fire covered inside and outside our house, and the futon hung out outside was burning because the ray shone on it.
My mother said,
"Ouch!! It hurts, it hurts, it hurts."
I asked her "What happened to you, mom?"
Her blisters were broken off and she kept saying,
"Oh, it hurts, it hurts."
