In that morning, my eldest son, who was a medical student, said to me before going to school,
"I won't be back home tonight, I will be on night duty."
It was so strange then, that he left home and came back. I thought,
"My boy acts strangely"
I said,
"What's the matter with you? Are you going to skip the class today?"
"No, I'm not. I just felt that I had forgotten something. I've come back to fetch it."
He had kept his precious books in the shelter. He came home to check them. He said,
"Mother! Please look after this book especially if the bomb drops,"
And then he went to school. I think that the medical book written in German was very precious in those days. He bothered to come back home to tell me to look after his book.
He picked up his younger brothers, one was four and another was two-year-old, and said,
"Your brother is going to school now. Stay in good health."
When I look back at then, he acted differently that day.
