Many military soldiers had come, and went on disposing of the dead bodies. And, after they had piled the bodies at one end of the Honkawa Bridge, they had piled put oil on them and burn them.
But when they were to spill oil to burn them, one of the soldiers said,
"Oh, wait a minute. This one, this one is still alive. Leave this one aside."
They said, "This one," with no respect. That's how they had disposed of the dead.
You know the religious picture of the hell and heaven in Buddhism? (Jigoku and Gokuraku). That picture of hell used to terrify me when I was a child. But now I think this picture of hell is nothing compared to what I've seen.
