I was wandering around to find my husband everyday. One day I heard there were many bodies at the aid station of Koi Elementary School. I went there with my baby boy on my back. On my way there, I never failed to check every dead body to see whether it was my husband's or not.
Koi Elementary School was packed with bodies from the passageways to the bathrooms. I checked every single body to find my husband. In few days they started to decay and smell awful. My baby on my back threw up. I talked to him, "We have to find your father."
In such times of hardship for all of us, there was a man walking around and pulling out gold teeth from the dead bodies with pliers. I said to him, "Stop doing that, please! What a terrible thing to do!"
He was covered with blood from the dead bodies and their teeth he'd already pulled out.
He glared fiercely at me.
