I evacuated to a riverside. I was exhausted. Someone came to me and said, "There is a danger to get drowned at the full tide, so come up to the shore."
But I could not stand up nor could I make a step by myself.
Even so, I made my way up to the shore by hugging the ground. Leaning over on a stone wall, I passed out.
I slept under the stars that night. How many died around me, I do not know. Night fell, fires were gone and it became very dark. The poor little girl, who was close to me, died at the break of dawn, saying "I am cold, I am cold." I assume she came all the way by herself.
After that, some died kerplunking in the river.
