<body><a href="../index.html">HOME</a><br><table summary="074"><tr><td class="etesti">074</td><td class="edate">August 6<sup>th</sup>, 1945</td><td class="eage">39 years old at that time</td></tr><tr><td class="ei_midasi" colspan=3>I thought that a bomb had struck a mental hospital.</td></tr></table><table summary="haikei"><tr><td class="bg" background="../../photo/img218.jpg"><div class="large"><p>I was so surprised when I went to a first aid spot.  The hair of the injured people was burnt off and their clothes were ragged.  Instantly I thought a bomb had struck a mental hospital and that the psychiatric patients had been taken there.  The injured people were talking like mental patients who had lost all judgment.</p><br><p>A variety of things had pierced their bodies.  Big splinters of wood had pierced their faces and bodies.  They had come with many things sticking into their bodies.</p><p>I thought, "This is real hell."</p></div></td></tr></table></body>
