<body><a href="../index.html">HOME</a><br><table summary="069"><tr><td class="etesti">069</td><td class="edate">August 6<sup>th</sup>, 1945</td><td class="eage">41 years old at that time</td></tr><tr><td class="ei_midasi" colspan=3>A stick 30 centimetre long had pierced an eye of a young woman.</td></tr></table><div class="largep"><p>I remember that a seventeen or eighteen year old woman was naked and walking with a 30 centimtetre long stick piercing her eye.</p><p>I had read stories about the battles of ancient days.  In one story, there was a <i>Samurai </i> (a Japanese warrior) called Taira no Gongoro Kagemasa killing his enemies even though an arrow had pierced his eye.  When I first read it, I really thought the story was exaggerated.</p><br><p>But I realised that when you are in a state of shock, this kind of thing could happen.  When I saw the young woman who was walking with the long stick piercing her eye, I thought that the story of Taira no Gongoro Kagemasa I had read could really have been true.</p></div></body>
