A pregnant woman had been brought in on the cart. She delivered her baby right there. She nestled her baby in her arms but the baby cried hard. I felt so sorry for them that I could not keep looking at them. After a while I heard both of them died on the cart.
As we were on evacuation, each of us had full bottles of water. Slinging my bottle of water over my shoulder, I was giving aid to the injured. Then someone caught hold of my leg and pleaded, "Give me water!" I gave him my bottle for a drink.
Then, other refugees lying around came creeping toward me. Suddenly, I was knocked from behind by a senior officer. He was probably showing me that my giving water to the injured would only kill them and that I should seize my bottle back. So I pressed my foot to the man's shoulder and wrenched my bottle from him. That was the moment I went insane. To my disgust, I was no longer a human but a mere beast.
